If these are the buildnumber, why doesn't it show on the About in the Help screen of CRM?

This is actually a good question and I have been asking for this to get updated since v1.x - The technical reason is that the updates update the File Version and not the Assembly version (for .NET binding reasons)... the About box reads the Assembly version.

So where do you find the build number? DMM fails with no error message if the build numbers are not exactly the same. But I do not know where to find them.

You have to look at the individual DLLs (Check the File Version property), or under Add/Remove Programs (Check the "Show Updates" box). You can look in the ORGDATABASE.BuildVersion table but that only shows the last DB hot fix applied.

Aaron can you please please please include the build versions for 3.0 in the build table history....

I know 3.0 is old hat now and we should all move to 4.0 but it would be extreemly useful to have the 3.0 version numbers in Build me a river
